New York native and lifelong resident Ben Dorman grew up in Great Neck, attended college at New York University, and never left NYC since. Living in Greenwich Village, Union Square, the Lower East Side, East Village, Chelsea, Hell’s Kitchen, Gramercy, Kips Bay, and currently Williamsburg, affords him strong market knowledge and a keen eye for the nuances of NYC’s neighborhoods and real estate offerings.
Ben is proud to lend his expertise to the top-producing Jessica Levine Team, ranked the #2 Agent by Transaction and #10 Agent by GCI at Douglas Elliman by GCI in 2019. Prior to joining Jessica, he was on Michael Shapot’s accomplished real estate team at Keller Williams, and worked as a Sales and Merchandising Coordinator at a healthy snack brand, Brad’s Plant Based.
Ben understands that each purchase and sale of luxury real estate presents a unique set of challenges and objectives. He prides himself on the keen attention to detail he pays in each particular circumstance, the full transparency he offers his clients, and the superior level of service he delivers. Ben is further known for his ability to effectively communicate and engage with people in an easygoing, nurturing manner. Cultivating authentic relationships is his forte.
His exposure to real estate came from his family’s business in both commercial and residential apartments that fueled his passion for the field. Ben was a Junior Associate at Pergament Advisors, fostering relationships with prospective investors. He also served as Director of Strategic Partnerships at AcuityAds in the highly-charged ad tech community, presenting the firm’s marketing platform to potential accounts. At WME/IMG, Ben interacted with entertainment and sports management industry leaders daily, honing his solutions-driven approach in a highly pressurized, time sensitive environment.
Always a sports enthusiast, Ben holds Bachelor of Science, Sports Management and Master of Science, and Sports Business Degrees from NYU where he played college basketball. He interned in Event Marketing and Entertainment at the Brooklyn Nets, and worked in Corporate Sales and Partnerships at the New York Mets gaining insight on the inner workings of the professional sports industry. When not consumed with real estate, Ben is still a sports enthusiast, as well as an avid golfer, foodie and movie goer.
